Jules Leyhe is a young guitar prodigy who has been making a local name for himself rubbing elbows with some pretty heavyweight cats. Leyhe has shared the stage with blues guitar legends Buddy Guy, Jimmie Vaughan, and Taj Mahal. A Berklee College of Music grad, who focused on blues and slide guitar, Leyhe has been featured in Guitar Player, Premier Guitar, and Vintage Guitar magazines.

This ain’t your granddaddy’s blues—heck, it ain’t even your daddy’s blues. Guitarist Jules Leyhe is on an entirely different trip, juxtaposing futuristic elements with down-home tones. Leyhe’s music is a mashup of blues, hip-hop, fusion, rock and Latin music. Conceived and constructed using vivid fantasy, the Berklee grad imagined what it would sound like to pair signature elements from diametrically opposed artists. Picture Duane Allman jamming with jazz piano great Gil Evans, or Jimi Hendrix playing in Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. The Family Jules Band features drummer Adam Briere, and renowned bassist Alois Cerbu. Grammy-nominated vocalist Libby Lavella brings powerful and soulful elements to the group.
