Born on the streets of San Francisco in the early 70's, The Medicine Ball Band continues containing top level musicians and always hanging on to roots from New Orleans. For this year's Mardi Gras we'll feature Rhonda Benin vocalist; Leon Joyce Jr- drums; John Hunt- trombone, washboard and vocals; from New Orleans John Stafford- clarinet, sax, flute and vocals; Luke Kirley- tuba; Anton Patzner - violin, whistling & vocals; Kazeem Elebute - euphonium; David Sturdevant- guitar, banjo, harmonica and vocals; Charlie Hickox - piano & vocal; and Geechi Taylor -trumpet and vocals
