Adding to the album's allure, is saxophone virtuoso Ralph Moore joins as a special guest, infusing his soulful and expressive playing into the mix.
Lorca Hart’s career as both a performer and a teacher has been dedicated to the craft of drumming, Jazz tradition and history, and ensemble collaboration. Lorca has performed in a vast array of musical situations, working with many of the West Coast’s (and beyond) finest artists.
Born and raised in Southern California pianist-composer-bandleader Josh Nelson has performed with some of the most respected names in jazz, including Kurt Elling, John Pizzarelli, Benny Golson, Sheila Jordan, John Clayton, George Mraz, Jeff Hamilton, Dave Koz, Joe Chambers and Peter Erskine.
In addition to a full time playing, touring, and recording career, Edward Livingston is an Assistant Professor at the USC Thornton School of Music in the jazz studies department, teaching bass and small ensembles.
Ralph Moore is one of the most visible tenor saxophonists in America.His many credits include collaborations with such legends as Horace Silver, Freddie Hubbard, Ray Brown, Dizzy Gillespie, B.B. King, Paquito D’Rivera, Diana Ross and J.J. Johnson.
